As I'm currently spending money far quicker than I earn it, I went for a trial at a coffee shop in The Valley yesterday. The place is absolutely amazing, with a huge coffee roaster/grinder in one corner and the long counter in the other, AND an amazing loft where people can have their coffee, althought I did find it tricky walking up and down the stairs with very full coffee cups and glasses... In short, I really hope to get the job! I loved the people, loved the environment, and really enjoyed the busy-ness of being behind the counter.
