In Australia it's a bit of a tradition for O-week (that's Orientation week) to involve a toga party. This year two of the biggest universities in Brisbane combined their toga parties in an attempt to break a world record. My whole group was set to go but it started absolutely bucketing down last night, so Liza, Liz, Andrea, Ursula and I made the decision to stay at Liza's place instead, and it turned out to be lovely! We had a few drinks, made dinner, and had a great night in the company of each other. I'm secretly glad that it didn;t go ahead because I worked from 6:45 am, so I was pretty dozy! Today I also went shopping for a new dress and necklace to wear to Brendan's 18th tonight- photos to come!
