Closest!

Last night was the preview performance of the play I'm involved with (Closer by Patrick Marber). There were no costuming disasters, no off-balanced heel moments, and plenty of great responses from the test audience! I'm very excited and a little nervous for the coming season, which is 8 shows over the next 2 weeks. An interesting thing that I've found to have happened is that over the course of rehearsals, the process of being very body conscious (as in, when my body will look elegant and appealing, as opposed to gawky and ugly) has made me far more comfortable in my skin.
